I Lost a Friend:
I lost a special friend today
the kind you can't replace,
and looking at her empty bed
I still can see her face.
I know she's in a special place
our Lord has for such friends,
Where meadows, fields & flowers
help make them strong and whole again.
I know she's watching over me
She'll be with me when I cry,
So with one more kiss on her beloved head
I told my friend goodbye.
With warm and loving regards for Sayde.

Sayde, the Auction House Dog will always have a place in our Hearts and minds and will never be forgotten.
James is a 2006 graduate of the Mendenhall School of Auctioneering in High Point NC. He has been selling the Auction way ever since. He is a member of the Virginia Auctioneers Association and is Licensed and Bonded here in Virginia. James is very knowledgeable about the auction world and can always find a way to help the sellers get the most bang for their buck. He runs auctions out of Roanoke at 1304 E. Washington Ave Vinton, VA from time to time. Since he has moved to Harrisonburg, he has started to run auctions out of the Broadway Auction House located at 522A South Main Street Broadway, VA, about 20 miles north of Harrisonburg.
Staff: James has a great staff that are very knowledgeable, friendly and hard working. Tammy Bush takes care of the Clerking and cashier. She is also behind the scenes in setting up the items for Auction. If you have a question she is the one to find during the auction. Tammy Brown also helps clerking during the Auction. Bryan is a buyers floor man always moving and getting the items you want to bid on up for auction. Tim Yates is the second licensed Auctioneer on staff, he works the floor and makes sure you see the pictures on line before the auction starts. He also takes a turn with the mic and sells as well. He always has an answer to any question and is always willing to help any way he can. Wayne Funk helps at the Auction House in so many ways, he has a life time of knowledge about collectibles and vintage items. Diane keeps everyone fed from the concession stand. She always has hot food and cold drinks. Then there is Paul and Annette who are always there and keeping things running smooth.
At the Roanoke Auction House James has 2 Auctions periodically. Thursday Night James has the Thursday Night Sellers Choice Auction. James has 6 sellers and each seller has their own table they set up and hold items up for auction. By doing this the seller saves on the cost of selling. Each seller is allowed to have 45 different items. Each item can have up to 5 duplicates and the seller has the choice to sell more than one item of the same thing based on the selling price of the first item. This has become very popular way to sell by Auction. The Seller pays a table fee and a percent of final sales. Saturday, James has his Saturday Auction. This is were you really find the items you looking for. He is constantly on the look out for items to put in this Auction. He has a back log of Estates, large and small ready to be sold the Auction Way in the Saturday Auction. Keep an eye out for Auctions at the Roanoke Auction House, he posts them on Facebook, Auctionzip, and on here.
Currently at the Broadway Auction House James has Tuesday Consignment Auctions at 4pm located at 522A South Main Street Broadway, VA. The auctions will be listed on www.freewebs.com/broadwayauctionhouse/ as well on here and AuctionZip.
More Options: James also does On-Line only Auctions. This allows even more exposure of your items because it allows bidders to bid from any where and have their items shipped. James will also sell your items via E-Bay or other on line sales can be done on Craigslist. This opens the door for any item to be sold for the maximum return.
